Face Spring-energized Seal

The face spring-energized seal is suitable for static sealing applications with unidirectional pressure, such as axial (face) and flange connections, and can be used in conditions with suboptimal surface roughness. The RC2877 spring-energized seal consists of a stainless steel spring and high-performance plastic. The stainless steel spring can be selected as either a V-shaped spring or an O-shaped spring.
